Was first hosted with impeccable service where the staff (Danny in particular) will introduce you all drink options. Initial impression was that the pub was hospitable.

Things then soon took a turn. Ordered the liquid buffet (all you can drink beer/ cocktail) and service started to slow down. All drinks (all I ordered was beer and whisky with coke) ordered took at least 20mins to serve. Note here, alcohol buffet was limited to 2h. Then, staff started responding oblivious to requests for orders. Soon I found myself walking to the counter to place orders. And even so, orders took longer and longer to serve. Noticed that staff was drinking on the job and the point was that the staff couldn't hold his liquor. He wasn't able to perform his responsibilities properly. There were multiple occasions that the staff was even lying on the seats, neglecting customers.

P.s.: Food is also on the menu but completely unavailable by the pub. Not all cocktails are available as menu is outdated/ bartender is unable to perform.

Best advice is, staff to stay off the drinks if he can't hold their liquor. Customers are paying for service and none was provided.

To give credit where credit is due, all singers are professional and engaging of the crowd. Disregarding the poor service, the band is worth the trip.

THE DRINK WAS AMAZING!!

When we first walked in, we were greeted by a super friendly person who welcomed us.

We immediately receive water and the menu.

There was a live musician named Jelly who had an amazing voice and was also very friendly.

I ordered the Honey Juice which costed $350 NTD which is a little over $10 USD. The drink took a while to come out but it was very clear why.

The drink came out in this incredible presentation inside of a traditional bowl with dry ice.

You can taste every aspect of the drink, the whiskey, the plum wine, the winter melon (I love winter melon so I know my stuff), and the lemon.

Their signature Calamity drink was delicious. However their other drinks are just so so. My friend had the shisha but wasn't that great - took a very long time for it to arrive too (probably 30 mins minimum).

The ambience and atmosphere was great though. There are live singers at night when we went (24 Nov 2024). The male singer had an exceptional vocals. Love it. The staffs were also kind enough.

There were minimum charges of NTD500/pax on weekends. But we saw some other foreigners coming in (non-chinese speaking) but doesn't seem to see them having ordered achieving the minimum spend. So was just kinda...
