This is the worse hotel I ever stayed along all my Taiwan trip
So? Overall is my fault for still haven’t check in at 9pm? No apology from the staff at all. Second day I called reception asked for towel also, the staff pass to me and his face is completely unhappy. I wished him good morning and thank him for bringing the towel up, he never even greet me or answer me.
Walking distance to happening place at Ximending takes around 5-10 mins. It is not exceptionally “near” to the station. Room condition was “Okay” to stay in but I don’t think it is 200sq ft as they mentioned in their webpage. It’s more like 120sq ft.
Don’t believe their 5 stars review, it’s an offer for those guest who leave 5 stars reviews will be given 1 hour late check out.
—Update— Regarding your reply on 17th December on my review, let me be very clear on one thing. You can check your company’s CCTV if you doubt our conversation.
When I reached the hotel at 12pm. Nobody has ever told me “Your room is ready” and nobody told me my room located at the Lobby’s corridor. I only state I will come back to check in the room once I’m done lunch. Because the standard check in time is 3pm.
Came back hotel at 6:00pm, the staff told me ONE ROOM is ready and located at the corridor of the lobby, ask if I wish to have a higher floor room I will have to wait. I RECONFIRM AGAIN BEFORE I LEAVE. Will it be ready by when? You told me BY 7PM ALL ROOM WILL BE READY. You yourself asked me if I can wait. So I told you instead of wait there, I will head to Taipei 101 for dinner.
By the time 9pm I text you, you still told me 1 room not yet ready. I asked you why and you start slam me of due to my choice picking a higher floor so my room is not ready. Please tell me, which hotel line will still pending their room until 9pm? By telling me because of my choice, the room was delayed till 9pm only available, but you yourself told me the rooms will be ready by 7pm. Whose fault is that???? Don’t try to twist the story. On standard hotel procedure also, my room should be ready by the time of 3pm. But no, you guys choose to delay until 9pm. Even I agreed on higher floor room, I agreed at 6pm. You guys should have suffice time to prepare the room for me. PLUS, IT WAS YOU WHO TOLD ME LATEST BY 7pm will be ready. So it is my fault that you cant ready? Very unprofessional reply full of sarcasm and you guys are a shame of service line. A humiliation to Taiwan’s service.
Oh yea, plus, it’s very easy to recognise the hotel, just notice below their sign there’s tons of rubbish bags placed there, that means you’re at the...

Staying at Hub Hotel Ximen Inn for 4 nights was such a comforting part of our Taiwan trip. After long walks and food adventures around Ximending, coming home to a clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped room made all the difference. The hot shower, relaxing tub, heated toilet seat, and soft, spacious bed were perfect for unwinding. The little details like slippers, a mini fridge, big-screen TV, and carpeted floors made the stay feel extra special.
What stood out even more were the generous amenities like unlimited bottled water, milk tea powder, snacks, and tea available anytime. They even had a steamer, dishwasher, and coin-operated laundry which made everything convenient and stress-free. It truly felt like the hotel anticipated every little thing we might need.
It’s also just a short walk from trending food stalls and the vibrant streets of Ximending, which made our days (and midnight food runs) even more fun.
We’ll definitely be coming back here, and we won’t hesitate to recommend it to friends. Grateful for such a warm and well-prepared space that felt like home...
Read moreI want to express my heartfelt gratitude for my wonderful stay at Hub Hotel Ximin Inn. When I arrived in Taipei, I was struggling with a severe headache, and the moment I reached the hotel around 11 AM, I was hopeful to leave my things behind. I took a little time to explore the area, grab a meal, and search for some medicine. When I returned around 2 PM, I asked if it was possible to check in early because of my condition, and to my relief, they graciously accommodated my request, allowing me to rest. I truly appreciated their kindness. The hotel also features a fantastic pantry where I could help myself to drinks and snacks any time I wanted, which was a lovely touch. Plus, I was able to do my laundry at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much, Hub Hotel...
