Saved this in my "want to go" list months ago and finally made it there today. The main draw for me was the 雪菜 e.g. mustard greens. I love mustard greens so much. I just ordered that and a couple of other simple dishes to go with a bowl of rice.

My husband had the fake lu rou fan; I'm not sure what they call it here, it's usually 香素肉販 or 素肉飯 at similar stores. A light, yet satisfying repast that worked out to a very affordable total of 120NT. As the locals say, CP很高.

Next time, I will make a point of sampling their wonton soup 餛飩湯 as they were being prepared by hand in the front of the restaurant while we were there. The filling looked like it contained Chinese toon paste. The photos on here of the wonton soup...

So, if you're looking for a n authentic vegetarian food, head here. Our inquiry for the best dry noodles they've got resulted with two bowls of simple , delicious and cheap food. Two separate dishes cost 70元，and they were just perfect size. No staring at foreigners, but helpful and nice staff who spoke very clear and understandable Chinese. Not sure how well they would've done with English, but the menu is on the wall so just pointing would do. You order as you go in, sit down, eat, and pay as you leave.
