Wholesome Hotel (previously Your Hotel) — Hotel in Taipei

Although I had given YOUR hotel a 10 rating after our stay I must lower it now. My husband’s brother passed away the day before our booked 4 day stay. My husband was the executor of the will and had to arrange cremation, removal of belongings at the nursing home, etc. so we delayed our trip by a day so that all these things could be done. When we spoke to the hotel about these circumstances they said that we’d we had to contact Agoda, the booking agent. When we returned home we did contact Agoda. They said to send a copy of the death certificate and that they would forward it to YOUR Hotel for compensation. However, YOUR Hotel would not offer to any compensation. We are very disappointed. Surely a death is justification for our late arrival. We still stayed 3 nights and we know that the hotel was not fully booked during our stay. We feel that YOUR Hotel could have been more compassionate in this special...

I’ve spent two weeks here to serve my home quarantine. The neighborhood is very old but full of rich history though I could not go out literally. However, I can feel the night market downstairs and order snacks without paying delivery fee. As a flexitarian, I was allowed to switch from normal meal to plant-based meal. I enjoyed the breakfast a lot and loved their morning call to begin my day!

The staff were very helpful and responsive. Because the hotel guest next door checked out few days earlier than me, I found that they spent a couple of hours to ensure proper cleaning and disinfection! This is definitely more important than anything during covid.

You will never regret choosing this place to serve your quarantine!

Was quite surprised how rundown the exterior looks like although interior is decent. It's right smack in the middle of street market and the noises from moving motorcycles, games in the market like balloon popping, people talking is like as if its right next to your ear. The worst is it lasted until late night. Even after midnight every 15-30mins there is one motorcycle driving past with deafening noise. Next door someone checked in at midnight and Soundproofing is so bad can hear them talking. Water running sound non stop. Asked the receptionist if can change room to higher floor they said no. When we finally decided to forfeit our remaining 2 days of stay, the auntie receptionist suddenly say can change room for us!! Pls avoid this 'hotel' at all cost as I don't even consider it as hotel. Spent more to switch to Hotel Metropolitan Premier even though it cost more but its worth...
