香旬KASHUN日式料理 — Restaurant in Xinyi District

This is a good Japanese restaurant in Taipei. Comparable to those you’ll find in Japan. (I just got back from a trip in Osaka which is why I sought this place!)

I was lucky to visit this place just as it opened without any reservation, but it does get packed easily at night, so I suggest you reserve your seats.

Their set meals are good, with a decent variety of side dishes, both sweet and savory. Rice gets a free one time refill. The fish I got was recommended by the staff. It was firm, with a right amount of saltiness to it and grilled perfectly. Their sushi are heaven.

Staff were incredibly helpful especially with the language barrier. Location is also near an MRT station.

5/5 stars. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back to try other items...

They have almost 700 reviews and still remain at 5 stars should explain everything. After having a meal here I would say they deserve the 5 stars without a doubt.

Service is good and with flexibility on their menu upon reasonable requests. Environment is chill and with enough seating spaces. Food is neat and well plated, and they taste brilliant, the seafood are fresh, the pork on rice is crispy and soft inside.

This would be one of my top listed Japanese sashimi restaurants in taipei.!
