Kaifun Taipei City Hall Branch — Restaurant in Xinyi District

I went there with my family while on a personal trip to Taiwan. We chose this restaurant over the others because we all loved Sichuan cuisine. However, I have to say we were a little disappointed with what we had. Many of their dishes were too light on the spice And some of them even tasted a little sweet. The dishes were also a little small in their portions but I don't blame them since that seems to be the case with most restaurants in Taiwan compared to the portion size in the states.

The service was impeccable. All the waiter and waitress we had were very polite and friendly. They also did an excellent job in looking out for our needs such as always topping off our water without we even realizing.

Overall I think they offer excellent service and decent food quality though you would be disappointed if you are looking for authentic Sichuan...

昨天去吃真的非常失望，滿懷期待，帶媽媽家人去吃，有訂位但還是多等十五分鐘，想說也許客人太多算了，終於坐下後，服務員把菜單丟桌上就走了，沒有任何服務和解說，讓我們自己研究菜單，也不知道菜的特色和介紹，我們大概看了一下自己去請服務員來點餐，點餐的女服務員態度極差，讓我非常傻眼，問她飲料問題，她說，先點菜好嗎！非常不耐煩，沒有禮貌，我們接著問開胃菜，她說，呃 就小黃瓜啊。我當下真的傻眼，我們就是不了解餐點才會問，怎麼會這樣回應，我一個禮拜前才和朋友們吃過忠孝店開飯，覺得很好吃服務非常好我才會一個禮拜後馬上訂位帶家人們來吃，因為剛好來市政府看表演，就近訂了市府店，真的沒有想到會是這樣的服務，後面點餐也是一連串傻眼，我妹妹問她請問冬瓜露是像冬瓜茶一樣水狀還是稠的有冬瓜絲？ 她回我妹 酸的啊！ 我們都不知道她在回什麼，問飲料是否很甜，如果說每人口味不同就算了，她回覆說，我喝甜的就覺得可以啊，你們可不可以我怎麼知道，最後讓我爆炸的是，她拿一張QR code請我們掃描，說這樣才有點數加倍，我跟她說，沒關係，我們已經等很久了，可以先把你手上的點菜單送出去先點菜嗎，我們慢慢掃，她說，不行喔現在就要掃，我說，怎麼會，我一個禮拜前吃飯不用啊，雖然我當下配合掃描，但手機一直感應不到，結果她就站在我旁邊等我掃，她沒有走耶，我壓力超大，我就生氣說，為什麼一定要現在掃描！！！然後我家人又出聲說算了不要這樣，我就很生氣，因為我覺得以開飯的服務品質和價位，我不應該受這樣的氣，然後她看我們吵起來她就走了，我們叫住另一個女服務員請問剛剛那位態度差的服務員名字，我們希望跟店長反應，讓店長知道這樣的服務過程和狀況，會影響更多的客人觀感，結果那個女服務員沒有回答就跑走了，留下我們傻眼在那裡。真的肚子餓就算了還一肚子氣。我沒想到開心帶媽媽來吃飯會是這樣不開心的結果。之後來了一位男服務員，聽了我們剛剛的過程，就說很抱歉我們會再檢討，就走了，之後都是他服務我們。我們一直等待店長是否至少會跟我們說他會處理這件事，至少檢討這個流程或人員教育訓練等等，到後來我們吃完整頓飯都沒有一個人來給我們一個回覆。直到最後結帳後，我跟妹妹走到店門口，忍不住再回去問櫃檯女服務員是否有問卷，她才跑去找一張問卷的條碼給我們掃描，我們再跟她說明一次這個點餐的經過，她才說她是領班，她謝謝我們告知，讓她更了解事情，因為聽同仁說不夠了解 (我的心情是，那你為何不早一點來慰問我們一下呢，多了解一下呢，而不是不聞不問連問卷也不給)...
