北村豆腐家統一時代台北店 Beicun Tofu Korean Restaurant
Always been wanted to try this but there was a huge crowd every single time. This shows how awesome they are. Located at Uni President (統一時代百貨), this is extremely accessible from MRT Taipei City Hall (捷運市府站). The restaurant may not look huge but it offers comfortable spacing to every guest.
If you opt to dine in, the side dishes is free flow, and there's a small fridge for you to top up to your liking. There's up to 5 side dishes for you to top up. I particularly like the kimchi, as the sourness and spiciness is right on the spot. Beside the side dishes, if you choose to dine in, you'll get one free ice cream per person, and the flavors changes according to seasons. Talking about CP value! There's nearly no way you will leave this restaurant feeling hungry.
Ordered「北村辣豆腐煲 牛肉」- Beef Soondobu. The beef meat is fresh and the spiciness of the broth is really good. Spicy and thick broth, with all the ingredients like tofu, raw egg, this makes the beef Soondobu the perfect choice for anyone craving for spicy stuff. The best of the entire set is the rice on cast iron. Their menu teaches you on how to enjoy making bibimbap with all the available stuff - rice on iron cast pan, 5 side dishes (includes kimchi, bean sprout, pickled vegetables, etc.), gochujang sauce (yeah, they have a pot of gochujang sauce on the table for your perusal). Try it out, it's truly awesome.
Ordered「鮮鯛魚燉豆腐煲」- Fish Soondobu. This fish Soondobu have very fresh snapper fish as its main ingredient, with clams too. Anyone looking for non-spicy meal in Korean restaurant, this would be a great choice. It's also some with rice on the iron cast pan, which is perfect for making bibimbap with all the side dishes and snapper too.

📍牛奶起士嫩豆腐煲(牛) 牛奶起士的湯頭搭配上牛肉確實好吃,牛肉相較豬肉嫩,但感覺份量不多 起士偶爾會吃到一、兩根牽絲 牛奶口味不至於會濃郁到吃不到最後,但吃到半途也有點麻痺,已經感受不太到牛奶的特別?倒是友人原味豆腐煲湯蠻治癒味蕾的🤣 豆腐煲的豆腐管夠,再加上附餐的麵/飯,其碳水化合物絕對讓人飽到天靈蓋 配料除了豆腐、牛肉外,還有一些高麗菜/花椰菜、金針菇、小香腸(一顆,蠻大、但有點脆硬路線),覺得配菜少了些的,小菜也絕對管夠 結論:牛肉勝豬肉,不用特別點牛奶起士
📍韓式炸醬麵(+59元升級) 作為附餐,其份量是夠的,炸醬麵醬汁可以放心全拌,本身調料不會像正統韓式那麼甜或濃郁,類似一種淺嘗韓式炸醬麵的味道?
📍北村嫩豆腐煲(豬) 原味豆腐煲味道清爽,豬肉咬起來較硬一些
📍醬香鮮菇飯(+59元升級) 菇的種類給的不少,醬汁有些甜?(友人是覺得有些鹹?)總之不能一次拌太多醬,不過配上原味豆腐煲倒是剛好
