Amazing food and outstanding service! I along with my wife on our first visit to Sun moon lake went for dinner to this place. Being Saturday evening we had made reservation. We ordered one three cup chicken,one steamed fish ,and one fried rice.In the absence of photos of dishes we had ordered diced hot chicken but I realised my mistake and requested the young boy speaking good English to change it to three cup chicken.He quickly changed my order with out any excuse.All the three dishes were amazing, very very tasty. I had ordered egg fried rice and he bought it but mentioned that it contains beef, which we don’t eat.The young boy quickly replaced it with another fried rice without beef. After the dinner I requester the staff to order a taxi for us for going back to our hotel about 2 kms from this restaurant.They tried but couldn’t get a taxi. Both of us , seniors and having knee pain,it was very difficult for us to reach our hotel at a higher altitude.Realising our problem, the young boy on his own ,offered ride on his scooter to both us , one by one. He first took my wife to our hotel, came back and again took me to my hotel. On the way he also showed me fireflies in the woods. I’m really grateful to the young boy,who on his own provided transfer to both of us , back to our hotel on his own. He even refused to take money for this transfers. I was extremely delighted to find such a selfless and extremely helping youth in this era.God bless him! I would love to visit this place again. Personally, I feel this place slightly overpriced given the quality of food served. The prawns (or shrimps) could be deep fried for 2.5 minutes longer for better crunch. Because they are under, the shells (we were advised to eat them with shells on) are still sharp and hurt our lips.

Seasoning used are the standard salt and pepper combination with no sauce to accompany the dish. Would probably return (if opportunity arises) to sample other dishes, but I'd probably give this...

Food is ok. Service is bad. Was there for dinner at 630pm. We weren't familiar with the dishes and requested recommendations. Impatient female service staff couldn't empathise the requirement of not having chilli or spiciness in the dish due to having a toddler as one of the diners. The female service staff had a couldn't be bothered attitude. She recommended a tofu... which came mixed with chilli despite my repeated reminders of not...
