Old Papa Black Tea — Restaurant in Yuchi Township

Came here per recommendation by the B&B we were staying at. We ordered the pork intestine noodles, braised pork over rice, and boiled vegetables. They were all really good!

We dined in and basically helped ourselves to an empty table. To order, scan the QR code to order online. We paid in cash so we brought our mobile order ticket to the kiosk and paid there. The food is served shortly after paying.

To order out, you can place your order through the kiosk and pay there as well. They will give the food soon after.

Recommend this place for a delicious, quick, and easy meal!

Also, if you haven’t tried the local Sun Moon Lake Tea flavored ice cream, I recommend getting it from this place as well! I would say it’s a must try while you’re in the Sun...

Today was the first time I've been to Sun Moon Lake. It was also the first time I've eaten at the same place twice in one day at Sun Moon Lake.

The minced pork rice (滷肉飯) is really flavorful. The pork isn't too uniformly or finely chopped which is nice to see, especially when you want a small piece of tender fat for your next bite. It comes with a bit of veggies that let you reset your taste buds every few bites.

Lovely little place to stop by for a bite. Staff were friendly and the food was served not long after ordering. Staff promptly cleaned up after each customer which is always a good to see.

The food tasted pretty good, the pork rice and veggies both hit the spot. The tofu and preserved egg wasn't to my liking but that's a personal preference. Serving sizes are quite generous and really affordable for the whole family to sit down and enjoy a meal.
