3.5 stars. Typically aggressive street marketing but actually quite welcoming. As per usual in Taiwan, food is quite cheap with each set menu being about $180NTD. Interesting variety of dishes and ingredients. Traditional Thao meal Braised chicken: S+, 8.5/10. The best part though only a few pieces Pork and bamboo soup: S+, 8/10. Close second Fried shrimp: S, 8/10 Dried fish: A, 7/10. Bony without much meat Vegetables: S, 8/10 Hotpot was quite standard to be honest. Not much to write home about

The traditional sets are now $380 and you're paying a premium for the view, the presentation. Food portion seems large in photos but actually isn't that much as most of it were vegetable dishes. The meat dish were quite small and bony meaning very little meat was on offer. If the price was cheaper than I would rate it higher on account of value. I do give credit to nice setting and service, it was enjoyable to have lunch there.

碼啡館 ⊹⋆ ²⁰²⁴ - 「湖邊慢食三餐，滿滿邵族風情」來到日月潭水社馬頭首推的景觀餐館大概就是碼啡館了，碼頭就在餐廳旁，可以看見一艘艘遊艇停靠，我們來訪的日子下著綿綿細雨，雖然沒有藍天白雲，但涼爽的天氣、略黑的雲，想起蘇軾所說的「黑雲翻墨未遮山，白雨跳珠亂入船」，遠山若影若現，雨滴在船隻上敲敲打打，滿滿詩意感，有山有水有景，其實還蠻放鬆的。 - 餐廳內的客人不多，大概是天氣不好的緣故，店內裝潢能看出還算用心打理的簡餐店，服務生簡單介紹完，翻翻菜單有火鍋、簡餐、點心等，最後我們還是選了最有特色的－邵族風味餐。「邵族風味餐」 $𝟯𝟰𝟱 網路人氣 ᴴᴼᵀ 以套餐形式搭配附餐的餐點，其實就是小簡餐，主菜提供三選一(秘製排肉、小米豬腳、醬燒雞丁），我們分別選秘製排肉、醬燒雞丁，秘製排肉就是炸排骨，吃起來有點柴，有點像便當店排骨，醬燒雞丁同上，感覺都是事先做好加熱送上來。配餐有酥炸日月潭蝦(蝦頭會一直刺嘴)、醬燒奇力魚(搭配一點點泡菜)、鮮蘇杏包菇、鮮味桂竹筍、山豬肉筍片湯、白飯，這些配餐其實味道不錯，不難吃，修最喜歡奇力魚，底下的泡菜是他的最愛，我覺得相比主餐，配餐更亮眼許多。最後的小點心可以三選一，差別在飲品（紫芽紅茶、小米酒、$30換購飲品)，均都會付一個小茶凍，真心推薦阿薩姆手工茶凍，茶凍不甜、不苦澀的有淡淡茶香，搭配甜又超Q的珍珠，真的是超絕配！很驚豔的小甜品，但紫芽紅茶在我還沒吃到帶甜的珍珠時，就覺得略苦澀，不是很喜歡，但還是有屬於它的茶香味。 - 整體來說鹹食餐點表現真的普通，擺盤很有心意，送上來滿滿浮誇感，甜點意外好吃，用餐下來感受就是主餐是為了凸顯最後一到甜品的好，有點小可惜，但也說不定其他鹹食或小甜點很不錯。

The food was mediocre, and the drinks were disappointing—ordering four beers only to have them all delivered at once, presumably to save themselves extra trips. It fell far below expectations. We sat down for dinner at 7:20 PM, and by 8:00 PM, a server informed us they’d be closing at 8:15 PM. This crucial detail wasn’t mentioned when we entered or even while ordering, but only after we had paid. Such petty schemes targeting tourists are unacceptable.
