If you appreciate amenities such as hot water for showers, air conditioning, or generally clean rooms, avoid this hotel. I travel a lot and this ranks in the top 5 worst hotels I have ever seen. We were told to boil water and dump it into the tub one kettle at a time. When we complained, the staff actually told us to leave a poor review... The lake view was spectacular, but the drawbacks outweigh this single redeeming feature. The beds were so hard sleeping was nearly impossible. The furniture was dated and the sink with exposed plumbing was in the main room. The phone was broken and had a very loud buzzing noise. We were told to unplug it. The TV had one channel with poor reception and several lights didn't work. When we informed the staff the air conditioning was not working, they instructed us to open the window. Unfortunately, the torn screen allowed several flying creepy crawlies in the room. The plumbing outside the room leaked into a plastic bucket and the "linen closet " was a steel rack covered with a sheet and crumbling paint from the cracked walls.

Read moreWe stayed in a lake view room at Hotel Leisure Sun Moon Lake and were generally pleased with the overall experience. The room was spacious, clean, and offered the exact scenic view of the lake that was advertised, waking up to that serene landscape was truly a highlight of our trip. The amenities were decent for the price, and the quiet atmosphere of the hotel made for a restful stay. The location was also convenient, just a short walk from the Shuishe Pier and local shops.
However, the check-in process could use some improvement. The lobby area was small and not well-equipped to handle multiple guests arriving at the same time, especially during busy weekends. There were limited seats and the process felt a bit disorganized, which created an underwhelming first impression. That said, once we were settled in our room, everything else went smoothly. We’d recommend the hotel for its value and stunning views, but hope they consider upgrading the lobby experience to better...
Read moreI visited the hotel during the Dragon Boat Festival holidays. There are several advantages and disadvantages as below:
Disadvantages: Bed: As most people feedback on the internet, their beds are hard. Some people might think it is hard to sleep. In my opinion, the feeling depends on everyone. Bathroom: When you take a shower, the water will spray on the floor. And it will make the floor slippery. So, the elder got to be more careful while taking a bath. I will suggest they could use a shower curtain to prevent water issues. Also, it is better to improve the floor to be non-slip.
Advantages: View: The view of the top floor was magnificent. When I posted the picture on Instagram, many people were concerned about where I was. Location: The hotel is located in a convenient place. You could go anywhere when you live here.
If you have a chance to live here, you could enjoy the breathtaking Sun...
