We tried two broths: the classic chicken pot and the royal spicy hot pot. The royal spicy one was super flavorful—not the numbing, fiery kind you’d find in China, but rich and balanced. The tofu and duck blood cubes soaked up the broth beautifully—I could honestly eat them with just a bowl of rice. Bonus points for free refills on broth, tofu, duck blood, and rice!
For the hot pot, the short ribs, assorted meatballs, and white water snowflake were all fresh and delicious, pairing perfectly with both broths. On the flip side, the fried dough sticks were too hard, the lamb shoulder was just okay, and the chicken feet were a letdown—fried to the point of being inedible.
