This is a well known local Taiwanese restaurant. However, I am not impressed by the food, the service or the vibe of the place. It’s very commercialized. I felt bad that I gave a three stars while my friend paid for the banquet. Other than the hot pot chicken porridge, I cannot recall anything that is extra extraordinary. Terrific Food. The fish is the BEST. Everything is great, and most meals come with lots of different vegetables. The service was excellent and very attentive. Not much English or Japanese (our languages) spoken but enough to get by — and all the staff made a real effort. A small venue with groups that can be a bit noisy. Great Taiwanese beers but not a lot of wines to choose from....
