have been curious about this place for months since they always have a long queue everyday. Even when it's 35°C outside like today. So we decided to give it a try today.
Be cautious that you are only allowed to take a queue when all of your party member have arrived at the location. This rule is written outside. Since my friends had not come when we were queuing, the staff asked us to go to the end of the queueing line politely. Yes, we need to start over our queueing again. But rule is rule. They have this rule since their place is always crowded and there are 9 seatings only inside.
after going inside, you just need to order your ramen through the fending machine and pay it using the fending machine. CASH ONLY. after you get the receipt, just hand it over to the chef. We tried 3 types of Ramens and a bowl of charsiew rice. Their prices are very affordable for this kind of quality. The broth is so good, the foam on the top of the broth is so fluffy. the ramen noodle is also well prepared. Even the chicken ramen broth is comparable with the pork ramen variant. If you like light broth, I recommend their chicken broth ramen.
We were allowed to order again for the second time and they didn't rushing us to finish the food in hurry. I see 2 customers taking their time chatting after finishing their meals. They also didn't ask my friends to leave their seating after they finished their meals and waiting for me.
recommended but the room temperature is a little bit too hot in summer...
Read moreMy experience here wasn’t great. During the meal, a flying bug hit my face, and another small insect crawled on my arm. The AC was also uncomfortably strong, blowing directly on my head at the bar table.
The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was concerning. I noticed an employee’s bag placed directly on the floor next to a broomstick, which didn’t give a great impression of their hygiene standards. Definitely not a place I’d return to.
Also, the 3 female chefs were very chatty amongst themselves and one wasn’t wearing a face mask.
Food is average. You can get better ramen with better restaurant hygiene elsewhere. Hope the restaurant owner will improve...
Read moreSmall restaurant. Just 8 seats inside so usually there is always a long queue and this restaurant doesn’t accept reservations cos no phone number. Plus no toilet so I advise you to pee before. It’s like a typical Japanese small restaurant but inside u won’t feel the real Japanese vibe. Instead it is very new and clean. Anyway I found out ramen soup and eggs are really super delicious but meat is not really tasty ( at least for me) and noodles are too thin. This mine won’t be a bad review but just don’t expect too much from...
