Visited the George Gastro Pub and wanted to share how great a venue and an experience it was. The pub and outdoor area are in an a period home and reception area that have been beautifully restored with original living room fireplace, flooring and windows thus keeping its authentic character. The team working there are attentive, speak good English and provide popcorn to enjoy while you have a drink. There are pub games available, books to read and big screens to watch sports. The drinks are priced comparative to similar venues in Arusha and great value for visitors with the food tasty and timely.

I had the opportunity to meet the owner George and I wish him and his team every success - the bar and the experience are comparable to any quality global venue. Look forward to returning during my time...

What a fabulous pub! As a Brit I had high expectations of this English pub and I was not disappointed!! Everything is perfect from the interiors to the atmosphere to the service and food portions! There are outlets everywhere if you wanted to work there. Free popcorn snack. Pool table, darts board, table football, big screens for watching sports. The food was great and good value for money.
