While the museum is fairly simple and leans more on photo displays than interactive exhibits, it does showcase the incredible natural wealth of Tanzania. From wildlife to landscapes, it’s a reminder of the country’s rich endowment.
The museum grounds also feature a beautiful botanical garden, which offered a peaceful break after exploring the exhibits. The kids enjoyed wandering through the greenery, and it really added to the charm of the visit.

Read moreThis place was cute. It was a little chaotic but that just added to the charm of the place. The human evolution hall morphed into a nature gallery which then ended at a taxidermy workshop which exited into the botanical gardens. Lots of renovations going on but will hopefully look nice once it’s done.
There is a turtle and a caged eagle on the side. And the art and artist working along with live music in the back is pretty neat.
I also enjoyed the German colonization hall which was very informative...
