My visit to Arusha National Natural Museum was enhanced significantly by the expertise and enthusiasm of Daudi, the volunteer in the museum. His extensive knowledge and engaging storytelling brought the exhibits to life, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. The museum offers a captivating journey through Tanzania's rich natural history. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, providing insightful information on the country's diverse ecosystems, wildlife, and geological wonders. We had a lovely visit with the kids and found it both enjoyable and educational. While the museum is fairly simple and leans more on photo displays than interactive exhibits, it does showcase the incredible natural wealth of Tanzania. From wildlife to landscapes, it’s a reminder of the country’s rich endowment.

The museum grounds also feature a beautiful botanical garden, which offered a peaceful break after exploring the exhibits. The kids enjoyed wandering through the greenery, and it really added to the charm of the visit.

A worthwhile stop, especially if you’re exploring Arusha...

This place was cute. It was a little chaotic but that just added to the charm of the place. The human evolution hall morphed into a nature gallery which then ended at a taxidermy workshop which exited into the botanical gardens. Lots of renovations going on but will hopefully look nice once it’s done.

There is a turtle and a caged eagle on the side. And the art and artist working along with live music in the back is pretty neat.

I also enjoyed the German colonization hall which was very informative...
