Central Park Cafe — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

I recently visited Central Park Cafe and had a great experience overall. The food was really good — fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. Whether you’re in the mood for a full meal or just a coffee and snack, the menu offers a good variety without being overwhelming.

What stood out just as much as the food was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, polite, and attentive without being intrusive. It’s always nice to feel genuinely welcomed when you walk into a place, and the team here did just that. They seemed happy to answer questions and made sure everything was to our liking.

Probably my isolated experience but some staff are unusually slow to follow instructions or orders and could benefit from additional training.

There also seems to be an uncomfortable vibe for black customers, as the staff appear to show preference. For example, some customers are asked for a minimum value order to access the Wi-Fi, while others are given access immediately, which I found odd.

Our family loves Cental, food is wonderful. However they have switched to using Dabagas ketchup. This causes Allergic reactions around my children’s mouths, because of the food coloring in the ketchup. As a result we cant keep going back, please return to using quality ketchup that is fitting...
