Hotel Ambience Excellent. nice outdoor and indoor sitting

Food Presentation: ok ok.

Food Quality and Taste: Generally Good. We ordered the Jumbo platter, (cost: 74,000/=) Lamb chops were missing, written in the menu, but they never told us, when we complained they said we did not have in stock so omitted them. the rest of the items were tasty. only the meat became dry as stayed more over the grill. (Sorry could not take pic)

The Chicken wings were supposed to have BBQ Sauce but they were dry, had no sauce. (Cost: 24,000/= for 6 fried half wings) See Pic.

Drinks ordered were delivered after we finished our food, and that too after calling the manager (Or maybe the owner). No excuse given. Fanta (4,000/=) Bottles Water (4,000/=)

Service: WORST, PATHETIC The platter was brought and stayed around 10 minutes on the table then the plates and cutleries were brought after we asked the waiters for about 2 times. Waiters were too busy talking to each other.

Value for money: Quite Expensive compared to the quantity they serve.

Absolutely abysmal service. One steak came out done congratulations(beyond well done). The re done steak was room temperature, which was then sent back and never came out again, idk how that is possible for a steak to come out of a stove and not even be luke warm. Reheating food takes 15 mins. Juices ordered did not come to those who got food for the entirety of their eating duration.

From 8:07 to 10:57, in 2h50m two people did not get to eat the dishes they ordered.

Even in hell you might get worms and roaches here the birthday man has to leave empty stomach to go get his kids to bed for school next day. Actually even abysmal is not a word strong enough of how bad the service was. Also there is water leaking from roof in multiple places within the dining space. You are charged for the container and the bag for takeway in a place that charges avg 50k pp. To add onto all of this I saw sandy water in the kitchen floor of what I could see, waiter going into the kitchen to carry out the food wearing flip...

The ambiance is extraordinary and the architecture and decor definitely takes you into another world. They’ve taken small details that contribute to the ambiance such as white rocks, the sand and stepping stones as you walk outside, the large couches and chairs in the eating area, and the best part was the huge TV screen. A great place to watch matches and games. We didn’t try the food so I haven’t incorporated their food in this review. The sheesha is quite expensive (Tsh 30k), it’s definitely on the higher end price wise compared to other places in Dar. This review got a 3 star because of their poor service - we had to wait almost 20 mins just to get a menu, and after we received the order, it was so difficult to find someone. They need to do a better job at checking in with customers occasionally, asking if we need anything, etc. It’s such a nice place but it’s just sad to experience the...
