A friend I was with said it should be called Chicken Club, I laughed as that seems very appropriate. We entered at 4pm on a public holiday to some loud techno music blasting in the speakers. Immediately thought this doesn't sound like we are the target audience, but then maybe its just a public holiday thing. In anyhow, we were committed to seeing what the buzz was. Looking around there were a diverse number of people but mostly young hip people around and a group of much older women having some sort of meeting. Service was quick, no fault there. We were given the menu which had a decent half page option, and in our true fashion spent 10mins deciding what to have. Just to be told there's exactly two things available, Chicken and Chicken 😶😶 again wondering why we needed the menu. Then when the whole chicken salad came, it was in the customary Dar way of slapping leaves together with meat. The chicken hadn't even bothered to have been properly chopped, otherwise it had pieces so incoherent it might as well have been run over by a bodaboda. It felt like the priority was showcasing a mountain of food at cost of presentation a and taste. The juice was nice though. Ultimately we decided we were a bit harsher on the place because it was named salad for days, expecting something different and probably a little more creative and the music probably is still giving me difficulties to hear my...

It's a confusing experience to be honest. GREAT food, no question. If all you want is to fill your stomach with tasty food that is generously proportioned, I can't recommend it more. If good service is important to you, maybe prepare yourself for disappointment, as you'll definitely feel the I'm-here-cause-I-have-to-be vibe and order-and-be-done-with-it attitude, which I suppose some will appreciate? Each to their own. I admit it's been a while since I had my food delivered to me with the spoon already stuck in the rice, silently sending the message, "EAT". But I digress. The atmosphere is confusing to be honest, it's as if the person building it started construction from the back, full of inspiration then by the time they got to the front end they'd either given up or it's a completely different person who was thinking let's be done with and move on. They use reclaimed wood furniture and have hanging vines, yet in the corner you have mouldy soda refrigerators, old crates covered in dirt and dust, a mop bucket in another corner and with some plants potted in plastic water bottles next to ones in clay pots. TLDR: To eat and leave, highly recommended. To sit and dine, look...

Thumbs down!!!

This is my second time dining at this restaurant with a one year gap difference but now I know I am never going here again.

The first time I went here with my siblings and I did not like that our food was not warm when served eventhough there we were the only customers not served yet.

Today is my second time and since I had to wait about 45 minutes for my order - there is a lot I registered. First off, customer service was poor, she told us (me and friend I was with) they dont have menus and so we had to order from the top of our heads - later on I moved to a different table only to find a menu booklet laying there useless. The table we moved to was definitely near the toilets for the restaurant; we know because the smell was putrid and flies were all around the area, even with the fun on - flies wouldn’t budge away. Our orders were for breakfast and all I can really appreciate is the cold juice that came with the order - the food was again not warm/hot. Once we were done, we had to follow the waitress on our way out and pay for our meals. I believe they...
