Wir waren gestern zur Mittagszeit im Kaka‘s Bar and Grill. Dort angekommen wussten wir erst nicht ob schon geöffnet oder noch geschlossen weil man im Vorraum steht. Dann haben wir im Innenhof Leute gehört und sind durch die verschlossene TĂŒr gegangen. Aaaahhhhhh.... Wir wurden empfangen und man brachte uns die Karte. Angefangen mit der Limonade, nicht zu kalt, genau richtig, sprudelte die Limonade vor unseren PlĂ€tzen. Es dauerte einige Zeit bis unsere Bestellung kam, das ist aber kein Problem. Das Leben beginnt hier erst so richtig in den spĂ€ten Abendstunden. Location: Der Vorraum eher unscheinbar, schöner wenn man in den Innenraum kommt, man kann beim Grillen zuschauen, wem das nicht gefĂ€llt hat die Möglichkeit in die erste Etage zu gehen wo einem weitere PlĂ€tze zur VerfĂŒgung stehen. Essen Das HĂ€hnchen Chrisp, war innen saftig und außen leicht knusprig. Die HĂ€hnchen Keulen war toll, außen knusprig und leicht frittiert und innen saftig. Die Soße war leicht scharf mit viel Knoblauch Das Brot wurde erst bei Bestellung geknetet und dann gegrillt. Uns gefiel es das sich eine vernĂŒnftige Portion Knoblauch drĂŒber gestreut wurde. Portion: Sicherlich nicht die grĂ¶ĂŸte, aber dennoch ausreichend und sĂ€ttigend. Bedienung: Freundlicher Empfang im Innenhof, aufmerksam, schnelle Bedienung wenn es um trinken ging. Preis: Wir haben fĂŒr 2 Gerichte, 1 Brot, 2 Cola und 2 Limonaden alles zusammen 30.000 TZL bezahlt, inEuro ca. 12,50 Euro was verhĂ€ltnismĂ€ĂŸig gĂŒnstig ist. Fazit: Tolles Restaurant im Herzen Moshi, was einen Besuch wert ist.

First night in Moshi Tanzania and we had awesome Tandoori chicken. I was suggested this place by the owner, purely coincidentally at a community event without knowing he owned Kaka’s place. He didn’t say much when I asked for somewhere to eat MISHKAKI or kebobs as others call it. Earlier we went to Reds, took take a way, the meat was so tough, I wasn’t happy. Don’t get fooled by Kaka’s entrance area; the food WAS AWSOME and the Vibe just perfect. The tandoori chicken was Tasty with a crispy outside and tender juicy inside. And the marinade was likely done long ago for it to steep in so well. There were several foreigners, mostly young adults who came and went and who also went to the CLUB he has upstairs. For me being back after almost 50 years. Man I loved the Tandoori chicken with fresh cut fries, their home made chilli sauce and tomato sauce. I LOVED IT, My son loved it and our tour guide loved it. Going back for lunch before driving away to Arusha...

Plenty of seats inside (down stairs suitable for families and ppl looking for a easy going and calm area, upstairs is more noisy as bar is there), patio and also on the balconies built on the containers. Patio can be noisy also during the power cuts as the generator is placed over there.

The service can take quite some time but its probably because they make it when you order it.The range of dishes is great! Excellent value for money for sure!Portion sizes were massive!! I ordered what they call Chicken salad and other vegetables was so delicious !

What I really liked about KAKA'S was the differents caind of pizza like Margearitha pizza, Veggie classic pizza, Mediterania pizza, Tuna piza, Salami pizza,Sausage pizza, Chicken pineapple, Indian pizza, Calzone pizza, Napoletana pizza,Mystic pizza and four season pizza also they have vegetarian menu

This is an Indian restaurant with absolutely amazing food. The best Indian I've had in Moshi, also cheap at the same time. It was so good that over the month and a half I had left in Tanzania since I discovered this restaurant, I went 7 times with my friends.

The staff are friendly but like a lot of restaurants in Moshi, very slow. Once, a group of 8 of us waited for 2 hours. I would call up to pre-order for a specific time.

The atmosphere is not the best though, also no decorations, basically a room with walls. The outdoors section is typical BBQ vibes but got...
