Rain led me to Remedy - thank you rain.
Remedy is a charming, cosy, cafe with a small, but fab outdoor area overlooking the Saen Saep klong (canal).
Sitting in armchairs on the deck, observing a monsoon in full force, and also enjoying a view of the magnificent Wat Saket (Golden Mount temple), was a fantastic experience for me, and my visiting New York buddy.
Elemental indeed.
Oh the coffee is superb as well. The cafe owner puts a lot of effort into his brews and it shows in the flavour, quality, and strength of the coffee. He is also a nice bloke to boot.

Really loved the decor and interior of Remedy. The outside area looked so pretty, so would recommend coming for a sit down coffee and treat!
The music whilst we were in was so good. As we walked in, Oasis started playing and I knew it was a cool cafe 😎
We both had the iced caramel macchiato and it was delicious. The cream, the caramel. And the coffee flavour was so good. I have had so many iced coffees which have had bad coffee taste, but this one put them all to shame.

Read moreA small, but very well designed cafe in the old town of Bangkok. Actually there are 2 entrances - one from the street side and the other one at the canal side. You can also chill out here and see the canal boats coming by every 10 mins or so.
The coffee is delicious and inexpensive, below of what you expect in fancy coffee shops. Friendly barista’s too!
