Arirang Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Pro: This is the only Korean restaurant in Chiang Mai that serves foods that actually taste like Korean food and I have been to just about all of them. Kimchi here was authentic unlike those sugar laden pickles at other places. I could immediately tell the food was prepared by a Korean. Also, I was very amazed how quickly foods came to the table.

Con: Meat was on the expensive side for the amount served. I paid 450 baht for marinated short ribs and it was nowhere close to satisfying my hunger. The young server girl needed a serous attitude adjustment. I found her incredibly cocky and unprofessional. It was apparent she did not enjoy working and it showed in her attitude and the service.

Overall, I did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant despite the delicius authentic tasting food. Unless I have a sudden desire to spend a lot of money on the BBQ while putting up with the rude, unfriendly server girl, I...

We wanted bibimbop and had walked by this restaurant several days earlier. We looked at Korean restaurants and many had better reviews but since this was close and they had bibimbop in hot stone bowls, we stuck to our original intention. And the rice was perfect, the bowls came out HOT and the rice was crackling and the egg on top was runny!! We let it cook a bit and got our gochujang sauce and it was perfect!!! The rice was so crunchy and crisp and hot! We loved it and the ban Chan had Kim chee, radishes, peanuts, and browned potatoes. this is kind of my first time to try korean food i have never tried it before do you believe it (not really i have tried teriyaki but i don't think it a dish it more like snack something like that for me) today i discovered that korean is not for me😅

i love noodles i ordered cold noodles yes COLD NOODLES i should know it not good along together ice and noodles soup 🥲
