We had dinner here last week, and were impressed with the great food and great service. As well all dishes we ordered (app1500B) were all nice and tasty. We recommended this restaurant to our friends. and we brought some of friends for lunch today. We were quite disappointed to get extremely poor service which was totally different from the last time. First of all, we felt unwelcomed. There was only one guy taking orders, and some other Japanese staff were busy chatting with Japanese customers (seemed like the customers were their friends). We sat at the table waiting for someone to get our order, but no one payed attention about us until we called them. We all ordered ramen. The ramen came without chopsticks. The drinks which we ordered did not come until we were half finished our meal, and after we called to ask about. It felt like we were being ignored. We ordered some yakitori, fired tofu, crispy sausages, ramen and a rice bowl with a seasoned egg. Everything was DELICIOUS! In fact, this was one of the BEST yakitori we've had, even compared to Tokyo and Osaka.
The staff and the young man who might be the manager were all very friendly. They spoke multiple languages (Thai, Japanese, English and Chinese). The space is not huge, but it's very cozy and comfortable. We will definitely come...
