Authentic Thai Food and Exceptional Hospitality at It's Good Kitchen, Chiang Mai It's Good Kitchen serves the best authentic Thai food I’ve ever had. What sets them apart is their attention to gluten-free options. They don't just remove ingredients to accommodate dietary needs; they offer gluten-free sauces and alternatives, so the flavors remain as rich and delicious as ever. There's no need to compromise on taste here, even if you're gluten-free. The hospitality is top-notch. After a few visits, we got to know the staff, and they even gave us a small thank-you gift for being repeat customers. They went above and beyond, recommending places to visit when we mentioned we were traveling south in a few weeks. The mango sticky rice is out of this world—by far the best I’ve ever had. I also highly recommend their beef Khao Soi; if you're gluten-free, this is the place to try it. They even serve gluten-free crunchy rice noodles on the side! And if you love spicy food like I do, you won’t be disappointed. They don’t hold back on the spice just because you’re a foreigner—you get exactly what you ask for. The staff at It's Good Kitchen are incredibly warm and attentive, making every visit feel special. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, always greeting us with genuine smiles. Beyond their exceptional service, they took the time to chat with us and recommended amazing places to explore nearby. Their local insights added so much to our experience, making us feel more connected to Chiang Mai. We absolutely love this place!

Updated 22/01 - came again for dinner, another great experience- got the Khao Soi with veggies & tofu, & the iced butterfly pea tea. All delicious & great service. One of the best Khao Soi’s I’ve had for sure. Only note would be that the Khao Soi was a little on the spicy side so make sure you request your preference based on your tolerance. 21/01 - Came here for lunch & got the following: - mango smoothie - passionfruit smoothie - veggie spring rolls - chicken pad Thai - instant noodles with veggies & tofu , no meat. There was a line when we got there but a good queueing system where you have a number assigned to you, so we only waited ~10min. Food came out at a reasonable time. Great ambience, we sat at the tables facing the street which was nice. The mango smoothie was good but the passionfruit smoothie was delicious. The spring rolls were a must, slightly different from usual with a thicker wrap. My husband enjoyed the pad thai, it was missing a lime but something that I’m sure they’d provide if you asked. The noodles are what I felt like at the time so they hit the spot & they were an alteration from something that was on the menu so it was great that they were able to accommodate. We will definitely come here again. Need to get better with the photos, note the smoothies & pad Thai were half finished when I took a pic ha!

Whatever you do, you have to visit this restaurant if you are in Chiang Mai. The food was absolutely amazing. Easily top contender against any restaurant across Thailand. When you first arrive, you are bound to see a queue. Don’t waste time by waiting in line, head to the front and grab yourself a number straight away. Once your number is called you will be seated. Waiting does not take long, as everyone is courteous and enjoy their meal and leave so others can enjoy also. It was our last day in Chiang Mai so we tried 4 mains, yum yum. We started with 2 Thai ice teas. My wife had with milk and I had with lemon. Both excellent. For our mains we ordered, Koy Soi, Papaya Salad, Morning Glory and the Pineapple Fried Rice. We thought we would have leftovers to take with us, but the food was so good we finished them all. Perfectly seasoned, spice levels were perfect and the overall taste was exceptional. If we were in Chiang Mai for another night, we would have definitely come back to this beautiful gem. Whatever you do, this place is definitely worth the wait. So get stuck in. Now let’s talk value. It is mind blowing, the total cost for the above was 395 baht MINDBLOWN

This place was packed every night I went, with a line of people waiting outside, even in the rain. It’s no surprise why, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. I ate here twice during my stay in Chiang Mai because it was such a positive experience. I’m gluten and dairy free and had read that they offer ample gluten free options. I asked the server what I could order and she told me to take a look at the menu and decide what I wanted and she would let me know if they could modify it or not. The first time I ordered kao soi (the traditional Chiang Mai dish) and the server explained that they could make it gluten free by replacing the egg noodles with rice noodles. She was very knowledgeable about gluten free and made me feel very comfortable and safe. Communication was not an issue at all. The second time I ordered the cashew chicken. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here, whether you are gluten free or not!

I really wanted to like this restaurant due to the staff are lovely and sweet. Unfortunately the food are not good. It's really Westernised Thai style instead of authentic Thai. I ordered - Pork Panang curry : why are there capsicums? And no small eggplants? I mean this is Thailand, and this reminds me of Thai food in other countries where finding right ingredients can be challenging so they have to use alternative ones. But this restaurant is in Thailand and even in the city. - Pork Garlic&Pepper : a bit juicier than I expected and doesn't look like the picture on the menu at all. - Thai Omelet (minced pork) This one is probably the best out of what I ordered. Like I said, I wanted to like this place because of the staff are sweet and the prices are great. But It's a bit overhyped. If you like Western-Thai restaurant then this is the right place for you.

Worst experience we had in Thailand in 3 weeks … We waited outside for 10 minutes then have been forced to be joined by a group of 6 peoples. They ordered way after us and have been served before us. Our first dish served was the desert without any excuses… then they decided to serve our “stir fried tofu with basil leaves” without tofu. But and this is the main reason why I decided to leave this restaurant : they didn’t announced the fact that they was out of tofu, beef, shrimps and mango this day … They still decided to serve tourists without any excuses and explanations, thinking that we won’t remark it… Finally we had one beer, one ice tea and one veggie spring roll for 180 batts! just go around the corner you will find a better service and honest people.
