Great, subtle cocktails made with all high quality ingredients, and some homemade ingredients such as their lychee vinegar. As such the prices are very reasonable. If you're not sure what to drink, just tell the bartender what flavours you like and they'll either recommend something or mix something new for you on the spot like what happened to me and it was indeed exactly to my taste: based on white rum, with a dash of smokey Islay malt, some honey, lime juice, fresh ginger, and fresh coriander. New since mid-April, this slick cocktail bar is well designed with dark wood panels, a long bar, limited seating on main & mezzanine floors. Tried their Negroni as first test of the bartender, passed with flying colors! Others in the group tried a dry gin martini, artisanal English gin & tonic, and a signature cocktail... they said those drinks weren't strong enough. Food menu looks interesting with steaks, ribs, etc plus finger food. No problem parking, easy access...

I live in NYC and I did not expect cocktails in Chiang Mai to top what I get back home... But Drinksmith sure did. Very delicious and innovative mixology going on here. I love the Death In the Afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the Late Night Snacker - I thought I would hate it but it ended up being my favorite! Who knew cheese and crackers with a cocktail would be so good?...
