Nophaburi Bar | Thai Cocktail — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Nice chill place, great cocktails, but extremely small place.

Nophaburi Bar is definitely a place to visit if you enjoy cocktails. They found their niche with their atmosphere and and clientele. It’s not a classy place where you have to dress up. Think of it as middle class white-collar jobs getting nightcaps or trying to get to know a potential partner better.

The prices for a cocktail are around 300bht. But they are worth it. The staff takes pride in their job, so expect quality with each drink.

Only downfall is the seating; it’s a small place, probably a maximum of thirty people can fit inside. Yet, you can hangout outside the building and drink out there while checking out the cars and people past by.

Cocktail bar with very relaxed and chill vibe serving 5 star cocktails with less than stellar service. Drinks were great, very well crafted and tasty, but staff was disengaged and distracted among themselves, didn’t really care to check in or ask if we wanted another drink. We were going to order a second drink but waited and waited and eventually just decided to go to another bar nearby (also worth noting there were 3 people working and we were one of 2 tables, as the bar was nearly empty). I was not expecting to find a mixology bar worthy of Jon Taffer! Excellent service and presentation of products and drinks. There is a variety of local and imported spirits as well as local micro-brews. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly with a high level of English. Great music, too. Overall, I was very impressed. I would definitely suggest for date night or just relax with a 5 star drink for a 2 star price.
