How come I only found out this hidden gem when I’m about to leave Chiang Mai tomorrow. Had I dined here earlier, I would totally have visited here each and every day. Grilled sirloin beef with Thai dipping sauce is great, beef could be a bit chewy but ok for me. The squid salad is a must order, you can taste the freshness at first bite. And not to mention the fried sour chicken wings, yes you heard it’s sour chicken wings, but sour in a Thai herb spiced manner, and I can’t believe how magically well sour flavor goes with chicken wings. It’s so one of a kind. For 3 dishes, a bowl of steamed rice, a bottle of zero sugar coke, only 300 baht! As for the service, the young girl who takes the order speaks perfect English. I came in by 17:30, placed my order . 1. Funny thing is they served fried rice first. Then soup . We are having our food and waiting for my beef skewers for another 30mins , I had talk to the staff 3 times. They only ask you to wait, the kitchen is making. During the meanwhile another 10 dishes serving to others. I told them they forgot my order, the staff just let me wait. Finally, I decided to go and cancelled the order. Now the order came. When we prepare to pay , luckily, I checked the bill , they charged me twice of beef skewers. I told them “ I only ordered one , you forgot it. You can not charge me twice for that. “ they reprinted the invoice and ask for payment. I would say I don’t know who is recommending this restaurant, their services are a joke. Honest and real review Fried chicken wings: dry, not juicy at all Hot pan grilled beef : way overcooked, tough to swallow cuz the meat is so dry and tough, moreover half of our meat are fat ones….we don’t understand why they serve this kind of meat on the table, unacceptable Poached cockles is alright We ordered omelet with rice. They informed us the rice is running out after they serve the omelet so we had sticky rice instead. The sticky rice isn’t good at all, like a stone ball, maybe not fresh…I think.
