Elephant Parade House — Attraction in Chiang Mai Province

Bravo to the people who thought of this! A shop that specializes in artistically painted elephant statues of all sizes. In honor of an Elephant who lost a leg but is being cared for in a sanctuary. Proceeds from the sale of the statues go to the sanctuary to care for her and other elephants. Many of the elephants statues are even designed by international celebrities!

Elephant Parade House on Charoenraj Road, close to Ping River and pedestrian bridge, is full of beautifully painted elephants which make excellent gifts. On the expensive side, but they are exquisite and sales go to help endangered elephants.

You can also pay and paint elephants yourself, with the help of staff. Staff are very friendly here.

The last time I was in Chiang Mai this store was in Maya Mal. Now it has its own location. The elephant designs are amazing. I would buy them all if i could. The staff are friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. You can also attend a workshop here and decorate your own elephant. I bought a small 10cm elephant and paid around 1400B.
