Mookata at its finest..
What a delightful surprise to find such an authentic Mookata restaurant in downtown Chiang Mai that retains its origins.
Located on a main thoroughfare its so easy to find and park to enjoy a delicious buffet of this iconic food for around 250 baht person.
The food is delivered in small portions with the freshest ingredients..which you can reorder as many times as you wish. There is also an extensive array of vegetables...salads..accompaniments and beverages on offer..
Loved by locals as a hidden secret.. as well as the lucky tourists and expats that are fortunate enough to sample its cuisine.
The owner Oad and his wife are truly wonderful hosts.. happy to share their wisdom and experience with all and sundry.. they have operated this family business in excess of 11 years and their passion for Mookata exudes via their happy staff and broad genuine smiles and hospitality.
Note that this establishment is only open from 17.30 to 22.30 daily and because of the quality of cuisine is extremely well frequented.. so get in early.. however well worth the wait if you arrive later..
If you want the best Mookata in Chiang Mai.. look no further than this truly delicious...
