Night and Day Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

We were recommended by local friends, this place just opened few months ago but becoming a hot place among locals and Thai tourists from other province.

Luckily my friend made a booking, it was full already when we arrived at 6:30pm.

The vibes was great, good music, a lot of gathering from friends like us, also have families with children and mature parents.

They have fridge of beers you may take yourself ( local, imported, craft ), wine by bottle.

Food is ordered by your own, better bring someone can read Thai, We had local food like Nam Prik Nom, Gaeng Hang Ley, Fried Salted Fish, Small Skewers of BBQ...we ordered food that spread fully on our table and they tasted great.

Bill of around $1000 bhat with lots of soda, water and ice, corkage of Whiskey is $100 per bottle.

Delicious and nicely prepared northern Thai dishes. In particular I wanted to try the Hang Le pork curry - แกงฮังเล. It didn't disappoint with a sublime umami background and punches of ginger and chilli blend pushing through. Worth coming for this dish alone. Also tried the deep fried belly pork and the pickled fish, which was an interesting flavour but a little too bony as made with a river fish. Food taste is marvelous. Highly recommended for authentic Thai food.

Portion is small and just nice for a couple. If you come in numbers, you may need to order two portions of each dish.

Servings are pretty fast. You can feel the vibe here. It's more of a drinking place.

Do wear long pants or long sleeves. Quite a number of mosquitoes. The restaurant does provide insect repellant.

There are ample parkings just across the restaurant.

In conclusion, quite a good place to venture for good...
