The best food experience we have ever had in Thailand. We only thought we were walking in for lunch and did not expect a fully sensorial immersion experience with food, art and lots of shopping. We went back 2 times to eat and try new things because the food was epic. We also went back 2 times to do more shopping. We bought the most beautiful plates and glasses as well as lots of jewelry and purses. The tea they sell there is out of this world and the jam is fantastic. A special thank you to Mee. You have made us your number one fan and made us feel just like family. Mee even went out of his way to help get some additional cups to my hotel when they knew I couldn't go back to the store. I only wish they could ship stuff to Singapore because I am running out of the tea I bought. Also if you are an art lover, this is definitely a place to come check out. They have beautiful unique pieces. So please if you go to chiang mai, woo cafe is a place not to be missed. Don't forget to Try their rice salad. The whole preparation is really fun and the taste is even better. Thank you Mee...
Read moreThere are a bunch of posh café/restaurants in Thailand now. We rarely go to any of these because we don’t have enough time. I want to catch up on eating cheap authentic local food first. However, I made it a point to check out Woo Cafe on this trip. I heard it has the most expensive khoa soi in town at 200 baht. The other khoa soi we tried cost about 50 baht. They only serve 10 khoa soi per day and I really wanted to try it. Unfortunately, we were full by the time we got here. Mrs. RB40 wouldn’t even split a dish with me. So we settled for drinks and dessert instead. We had this orange cake and enjoyed it immensely. Next time I will have to get here early and try the khoa soi. I hear the food here is top notch and top price. This shop is also really cool for another reason. The décor is all for sale. You can buy anything here. The table, chandelier, painting, dishes, and whatever you see. They have a connecting shop you can walk through on your way out. There are all kind of expensive cool stuff there, very artsy. This is a very cool place to drop by if...
Read moreVERY cool atmosphere. Food are VERY photogenic. Definitely come here for your food blog/IG. Price is reasonable by North American standard. (or some might consider it cheap for the kind of restaurants it is and the presentation of the food) Girlfriend ordered the Lychee oolong iced tea for 120b and it looked beautiful and tasted pretty good. Large portion too. She also had a pesto grilled cheese for 280b. The sandwich tasted good but is lukewarm. The fries that came with it were really good and it came with a cheese mayo dip that was the highlight of the meal. I ordered a stir-fry soft shell crab for 290b and a steamed rice for 20b. The crab tasted good but again it's luke warm and the portion is really small (not nearly enough to go with a small bowl of steamed rice). Overall, it was a bit disappointing because the presentation of the food seems so great. The desert that we see other people ordered looked great so maybe we will come...
