This is a great little restaurant, a place I had eaten several meals in the days before covid. I love everything about the place. First of all, it's a small family run business. Owners speak perfect English and are happy to discuss the food they sell. From what I understand, they have just recently reopened post-covid, and thus are currently offering a limited menu. When I visited, they were serving just two dishes - nam ngiao and khao soi. I ordered each dish a different night, and both were tremendously delicious. Nam ngiao (60b) was meticulously assembled and served with a side of pickled vegetables. Meat was perfectly tender, and the owner showed me a special ingredient they add - dried flowers from a specific tree. Have not seen this added to nam ngiao before. I actually thought it was shredded beef until told otherwise. Khao soi (50b) was also well presented and served with a different type of spicy pickled vegetables. Neither dish was overly spicy, just wonderfully flavorful. Serving sizes were medium. The restaurant itself is very clean and comfortable. I am looking forward to the further expansion of their menu, as I have enjoyed several dishes here.

We stomped on this little gem on our way to blue temple, we were so happy to dine in there and enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Owner speaks perfect English and with very well manner, I assume this restaurant is family own and their staffs are very friendly! :) inside the restaurant is very clean and tidy and the food quality is excellent! Highly recommended!

I patronised this stall for lunch on a weekday in October 2024. During my visit, most of the food is not ready. We had a Pad Thai flooded with beansprouts (not that I'm complaining!) and orh luak or oyster omelette inundated with white pepper powder. The total bill was THB 180. Overall, it was a decent meal. Eatery was run by a friendly family.

We stopped for lunch and had delicious Pad Thai and returned for dinner and had delicious pork dishes- bbq pork, crispy pork, and a pork stew, also kaejeow (Thai omelette), and also some stir-fried vegetables. The food was delicious- well seasoned and well cooked! The location was also perfect to watch the clock tower show as it’s just down the street. The restaurant was started by 4 sisters and the lovely family still owns it. One of my favorite meals in Thailand topped off with homemade ice cream!

Maybe the real review should be that my kids (ages 7 and 10) also...

We ate lunch here yesterday after reading about the restaurant in the Lonely Planet, seems the book needs to be updated. We ordered Khao Soi and it was one of the worst we've had and Pad Thai that tasted horrible, like the sauces came from a can (and we're maybe expired?) and it had no peanuts or veggies just noodles and chicken. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant, seems like there are many other places nearby that would be...
