Sometimes, what truly impresses us about a place isn’t just the beautiful views, the good food, or the sound of waves crashing on the shore— but the feeling we get from being there. And this time, I received something far more special than I ever expected.

It was my first time at Nomad Beach Club. I had planned to just stop by, clear my head, enjoy the sea, find something tasty to eat, and relax with the peaceful beach atmosphere that so many people had recommended. But what I didn’t expect was… to run into Chris, an old friend I used to work with!

As I walked into the club, one of the staff greeted me warmly with a big smile. We looked at each other—and in that moment of surprise, we both realized: “Hey! I remember you!” It was Chris, my former colleague from years ago. We had worked side by side, gone through stressful shifts, shared laughter, and built memories during those days. Seeing him again in a place like this—it was honestly such a heartfelt moment.

Chris remembered me so clearly. He brought me to a beautiful table right by the sea, asked how I’d been, and we caught up like no time had passed. He took care of me so well—recommending dishes and drinks, making sure everything was perfect. It made me feel like a truly special guest, even though I was just a first-time visitor.

The food was amazing—every single dish. The fresh seafood with spicy dipping sauce, the wood-fired pizza with that delicious aroma, and their signature cocktails were all spot-on and perfectly matched the seaside vibe. The chill music in the background tied it all together, making the whole experience feel like a scene out of a really good movie.

But what made the day truly unforgettable wasn’t just the food or the view… It was seeing someone from my past—someone who still smiles the same, still carries the same warmth—and realizing that the world still has these little beautiful surprises, waiting for us… if we just open ourselves to them.

Nomad has good place on the famous BangTao beach. I came there with my wife on our last evening in Phuket. Setup is nice, there's live DJ and fire animation which is nice. Also they accommodated table change with no issue and nicely

However the mediocre service is recipe for disaster night so I recommend avoiding this place. Prices are high, you would then expect spotless service, but this place doesn't live to its expectations.

When we arrived we had to wait 45' after ordering cocktails to get them. Not every waiter can take order, you have to find the one with iPad which will make sure to never look in your direction so many time we had to stand off the table to go to them Half of the main courses were sold out. My wife's choice in main course was turned down 3 times in a row so we ended up taking the iPad to check ourselves (kinda a joke) Same for wine menu where paper menu is not up to date, missing bottles on their iPad and different prices as well (beware) Main courses arrived with more than 5' difference for me and my wife. Cherry on the top, we wanted to order dessert but were told kitchen had closed. No one gave us warning when giving out main courses or when we were eating them. No dessert I guess then ..

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Nomad, and I can honestly say it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay. The location itself is stunning — pristine sands, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking views that instantly put us in vacation mode.

The facilities were top-notch, with comfortable sunbeds, stylish cabanas, and plenty of space to relax. The beachside service was impeccable, with drinks and food delivered right to our spot without any delay. Speaking of food, the menu offered a variety of delicious options, from fresh seafood to expertly crafted cocktails, all of which were mouthwatering.

What truly stood out was the attention to detail. Every little touch, from the smooth background music to the well-maintained grounds, added to the overall ambiance, creating a perfect escape from the everyday. Whether you’re there to unwind or enjoy some fun water activities, NOMAD has it all. And Mai is super cute and she has been very nice with us.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy the best of beachside luxury, this club is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to return!
