Pasta & Co a pop up by Semi Di Tsubu — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

I looked forward to trying Itameshi food for the first time, but the restaurant was a big disappointment. None of the dishes we ordered were any good and they were certainly overpriced for the quality and size. In wagyu beef ravioli, I couldn't tell it was wagyu beef, as the quality of meet was average; also, it was overly salty, and I couldn't detect any ricotta cheese in it. Spaghetti with pesto sauce and scallops was nothing to write home about: a plain-tasting dish, and the scallops were finely chopped, so you couldn't tell whether it was a seafood or a boiled zucchini. Small portions. Tonkotsu Ramen was also overly salty and had slabs of pure pig fat in it. We decided to skip the dessert to avert more disappointment. Visited Semi Di Tsubu last night to try something different and the Italian Japanese fusion did not disappoint. Fortunately, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves for dinner! The staff were very friendly, professional and were very attentive. The food was super impressive!!! Everything was fresh, well presented and tasted incredible - the highlight for sure was the Salmon, Chicken and Wagyu on the hibatchi. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. While the prices are more on the expensive side, the whole experience and food was worth the price. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for something different and...
