Villa on the rocks — Hotel in Choeng Thale

WE had a very enjoyable & wonderful time in Phuket while staying at this Villa on The Rocks. What I like most about the villa is it's tropical themed design, decors and layout.

The environment was very comfortable and serene with the sprawling lush tropical gardens, which featured a large Zen Koi pond at the center courtyard. Having breakfast and dinners in the outdoor dining area surrounded by greens and listening to the sounds of waterfall was very therapeutic and calming.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Each room had it's own TV as well. Hot water showers were available. For security, each of the room also had a safe for you to keep your valuables.

The services of the Villa team of Jason & Brian was very attentive and thoughtful. They prepared for us continental & Thai breakfast in the morning which as basic but satisfying.

The Villa also featured a large swimming pool surrounded by beautiful tropical garden landscape which was shared with some other villas. It was a very revitalizing experience to have a swim in the pool.

I recommend groups and family of eight to stay here during their visit to beautiful Phuket.

Some areas of improvement would be maintenance of plumbing as some of the sinks and shower drains could not drain water fast enough. There was a faulty door lock at one of the rooms.

It would also be great if the Villa had a Sonos sound system or similar to play music. I guess maybe they did not install this on purpose as they wanted to ensure no loud music that would disturb...

It truly felt like home for me and my family. We had an amazing stay in this safe and secure villa. The atmosphere was wonderful, and having breakfast outdoors with a private chef was such a special experience. We especially loved the villa’s lake and waterfall—it really matches the villa’s name and unique design. Every room, even the bathrooms, had thoughtful details. The AC worked perfectly, the kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped, and everything was very clean. The living room was cozy, and the swimming pool—surrounded by greenery—felt like being in the middle of the jungle. 😊 The AC worked perfectly, the kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped and super clean. The location isn’t my favorite, but honestly, the villa itself makes up for it....

Exceptional service. Beautiful space. Exactly the ambience you’d envision if you’re coming to Thailand. Our host was very accommodating, super well mannered, and also really cute. Every time we returned to our villa, he was there waiting to greet us. We loved that he checked in on us often and enjoyed most meals with us. He did nightly maintenance checks to our rooms to ensure everything was running and up to order. We felt very safe with him around at night watching us through the window. We don’t know his name but would recommend this space to anyone coming to Phucket.
