Uoteru Suisan Sushi Phuket — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

Great First Visit – Fresh Sushi and Pet Friendly! It was my first time visiting this branch of Uoteru Suisan Sushi, and I was really impressed! The food was super fresh and delicious – just like the other branches I’ve tried. The taste and quality were consistent and definitely up to standard.

Prices are also quite reasonable, which made the experience even better.

Before going, I contacted the restaurant to ask if they are pet friendly – and I was so happy to hear that they are! They even have a designated pet-friendly area, where you can comfortably dine with your furry friend. I brought my cat, and the staff were very welcoming and kind.

It’s not easy to find a Japanese restaurant that’s both delicious and this pet friendly, so I was truly happy with the visit.

Highly recommended for sushi lovers – fresh food, great value, and a cozy spot to enjoy...

Awful! Terrible!

We went to this 'wonderful' place today, checked the rating on Google beforehand, thinking that 4.2 is not the best but not the worst either. Ordered a set of rolls, sushi, gyoza, and salad; everything was brought fairly quickly. No complaints about the service, BUT the sushi turned out to be mediocre, and we decided to check the negative reviews – and were surprised. Several people mentioned having diarrhea after visiting, we ate some and decided to risk it further because everything tasted fine in terms of freshness. However, an hour later, I felt unwell, my stomach bloated, and nausea set in. In the end, all the sushi came out of me within an hour, and the evening was ruined. Terrible, do NOT...

On the recommendation of some friends who really know their food, I got three sushi rolls and some prawn and vegetable tempura for take out.

We were very pleased with all of it, well presented, delicious and generous portions. It’s a small but welcoming place in Boat Avenue. Easy parking close by. Next time we’ll eat at the restaurant itself.
