Aitalay-Seaview Restaurant Bangsaray — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

Dined on 14 Feb 2024. Thai food ordered. Busy and seemed short staffed for servers. Seating area not comfortable. Location is ok, overlooking the beach area. First two dinner plates were dirty/dusty. Ice for glasses was kept in a large blue portable cooler/ice chest. Server refills customer's glass with ice by scooping the customer's glass in the ice to fill with more ice - no scoop used. Portion size on all dishes was generous. One dish prawn/seafood fried rice tasted like Chinese fried rice with a hint of sesame oil and soy sauce - didn't taste likeThai seasoning. Som Tum was average but with a good portion size. Stir fry morning glory was good and fresh. Two other dishes were also good and fresh tasting but nothing special. Staff was cordial, but nothing exceptional. Didn't welcome us when we arrived and didn't thank us upon leaving - sent a small child to deliver our check/bill. I'm giving this place a 2 star on the food because of an experience where I ordered hamburgers delivery. I dont know what was in the buns..I simply can't define it but it wasn't beef. It seemd like I bit into pork fat and flour mixed into a patty. My friend's was the same. We assumed she was out of beef and rather. Than notify me decided to take my money anyway. That was it for me , never again. I had dropped in several times as a different friend said the food was a good bargain and...it was ok .. nothing to shout about but ok...and so with that burger farce I had no issues dismissing the place. I'm not bashing or insulting... just relating my experience. Total turn off. Plenty of good restraunts in the area that I do enjoy so I wint ever go...

It was a disappointing experience from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, the atmosphere felt off, and I should have trusted my instincts and left. The service was virtually non-existent, despite the fact that there were only two tables occupied. The staff seemed confused about the menu and unable to provide accurate information about seafood prices.

To top it off, our server struggled to remember our order and took over five minutes to sort out the bill at the end. The food itself was lackluster and not worth the quality or price. Overall, I regret choosing this place and would not recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money and...
