Fake Halal certificate.

The owner has replied with lies, so I will update this review. Outside on their banner, they very clearly have a Halal stamp that says "certified". We absolutely DID seat in your restaurant. Your menu says nothing about Halal options, only the one "Halal Certified" mark on the outside sign, so we asked your waitresses. Both my Thai wife and I asked all three of your staff if the restaurant actually had Halal and none of them had any idea what we were talking about. Finally, when my wife went out and pointed to the Halal mark on your sign, the staff finally understood what we were asking. They then told us very clearly that if we wanted Halal, we had to order the vegetarian options.

This is not at all what you are now claiming. Halal may not be important for you. But for Muslims, this is very serious. Claiming you have a Halal certificate on your sign has no other purpose than to trick and mislead muslims into thinking they can safely eat in your restaurant.

You are preparing pork in the same kitchen, with the same utensils and equipment that you are preparing your supposed halal meat options. This is not Halal, and you do not have a Halal certificate for your restaurant.

This is a lie. End of story.

You should be ashamed...

I never give 1 star but I got no choice here... The waiter didn't speak either English or Thai properly so he didn't understand our questions. We asked if they charged vat and service charge extra but he couldn't understand and said that we could buy extra stuff... Then we waited for 1 hour (we were the first customer of the restaurant). And after that he brought a pizza that wasn't mine... After I complained and he still couldn't understand why I was upset and wanted to go he looked at me and threatening me. Finally he realized that he got the wrong pizza and served me the right one. He gave mine to the table next to us (I told them I didn't touch it tho...). Then he didn't understand that we wanted spicy sauce... And he started to upset the other table which had the same troubles as us... To finish the food was very basic and overpriced for what it is....

The place looks nice but the drinks and food are mediocre. We ordered a baked pineapple stir fry and somehow the rice didn’t have any pineapple? I let the waiter know and she said that it is chopped in it. I looked and looked and seriously couldn’t find it nor taste it. I told her again, she went to the kitchen to check and she said the chef told her that this dish doesn’t have any pineapple in it??? I’ve never eaten a Thai baked pineapple with no pineapple in the rice. What’s the point of the pineapple then? Just to make the dish look pretty? It was odd. Please zoom in my picture and point where the pineapple is (do not confuse it with the egg yolk) Anyways, the drinks were ok and the food didn’t taste authentic. I’m eager for the comment of “you are wrong and the rest of my customers are right.” No opportunity for...
