Ok where to start; This place delivered Highly proffessional on so many levels.
First up would be the the food. We’ve gone here with a child who’s got celiak disease and is very sensitive to gluten and we ended upe eating at least 1 meal every day for a couple of weeks and there was no trace of reaction to gluten. On top of that they have a good menu with not to much and not to little so they master each dish and serve it quickly. Every day we could choose a new thai dish or have something european when we felt like it. And they had drinks for any mood.
And then there is the place and facilities. This was such a nice location by the beach but slightly sheltered so it felt calm and with a gentle breeze. And devided in 2 so it could hold a lot of people and still feel buzzing with a good atmosphere.
And last but in no way least the lovely staff and especialy Bank. He really made our stay feel like our second home. This guy OMG what an amazing person, I hope he gets his own hotell chain someday because he knows what he’s doing. I would go anywhere he’s in charge. He sees people and really takes care of them as well as keeping it social and light, not just with us but with everyone. It was fascinating to see. He even made one of our shy kids open up to him, and that is a feat lost to most adults. This guy is so perceptive and such a good host, you just don’t want to leave. He wasn’t all alone though, we were really well taken care of a good team with Joy and Por as well. It seems like they take care of each other and you are just an extention of that really good place to be.
Travelling with special needs when it comes to food can be extremely tiredsome and very much with gluten that just fly everywhere in a kitchen, but Fino became a wonderfull safe haven for us in every way for 2 weeks and made sure we always got 1 great meal a day.
We’ll miss wonderfull Thailand, and I just know I’ll dream myself back to the drinks and dishes at Finos. And hopefully Bank travels to Norway someday so we can spoil him back with food and...
Read moreLast meal before flying decided to be here after the last swim. Really bad way to finish the holiday. They do not know how to make Mojito, fair enough. Kuai Tial soup was with inedible noodles and what was probably cold leftover chicken from the hotel lunch. Pad see ew a very simple meal was by far the worst meal I had in Thailand. The calamari were also sad most likely coming from frozen ready to eat meal. Kids meals are free which is great, the trick is they are tiny but you can have a second serve. Kids got spaghetti bolognaise, small serve of spaghetti and half a plate of unseasoned cabbage. Kids ordered spaghetti and normally would not eat the coarse cut cabbage. The waiter said they haven’t finished the plate to have a second serve, he felt embarrassed himself and brought a second serve but was very uncomfortable. Ended up having food at the airport. As convenient as it is being on the beach, terrible and...
Read moreCame here reading the reviews and had great expectations. It was my brother in law’s birthday and we wanted to do a small family celebration. The decor and ambiance was good and welcoming. The service in the beginning was good too but it completely was a let down from here on.
We were having whiskeys and vodkas. The vodkas were with sprite and the whiskeys were with water. But they completely mixed up and started bringing whiskey with sprite. When we told them they started arguing saying didn’t you see bubbles in the sprite! Seriously! Firstly you mixed it. Then even when you brought it separately you should have brought with water and not sprite. They just passed the blame on us very conveniently.
The food was good but have had better food elsewhere. Loved the yellow noodles with seafood and egg though.
Honestly Thailand has so many Indian tourists. I just wish these people learn a lesson of two from us about...
