Do not be put off by the fact that so many westerners eat here, as we almost were. Thank goodness we weren’t. We’ve been in SE Asia for ten weeks now and this was the tastiest food we’ve had. It was quite a surprise. Extensive menu. Great service too. The staff were friendly enough and the child serving was very cute and a novelty, but people were smoking in the restaurant even with babies and children at the next table - a big no! The Pad Thai was horrifically salty and inedible, green curry was spicy which was great but lacking flavour, the free watermelon was a lovely gesture but clearly we were given a very old, dry, crumbly fruit. The Thai food here is close to if not the best I've tried in Kammala.

It's not upmarket and it doesn't have an "extensive wine cellar". It does have efficient staff, a competent kitchen, clean interior and above all, well priced, well made Thai food.

Highly recommended.
