The empty seats should have been a red flag but we thought we’d give benefit of the doubt as how could somewhere on Kamala beach not provide good food?

This place, that’s where.

My friends starter, main and dessert arrived before my starter arrived. I had waited over 45 minutes for the starter and by the time it came I had lost my approach and had had some of my friends food as it had been such a long wait. I asked to cancel the main but the restaurant refused. Three times I said I wanted to cancel the main and then the one member of staff who could speak or understand any English any at all came out and said they would charge me regardless and didn’t apologise at all for the delay in my food.

I don’t mind if someone’s English isn’t good but we did point at pictures and the poor girl serving us was still confused and overwhelmed and needed her manager to come over.

I would steer clear of this place, there are much much better places with great service and food...

Genuinely the best food on Kamala beach!! This place is the same price as the food stalls behind the beach, but you get soooo much more value here! The view is stunning. This is a quiet end of the beach, so the atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating, putting on the fans for us before we even sat down. The food is delicious. We’ve come here for the eggs Benedict, massaman curry, sweet and sour pork, watermelon shake, caramel milk frappe, coffees… it’s all been so good. The bathroom is very clean and well maintained as well the rest of the restaurant.

We have been several times on this trip and will be back again...
