Gave this place a shot after reading great reviews and it did not disappoint! I had green curry which comes with chicken or pork - I'm vegetarian and asked could I have no meat just vegetables which was easily understood and also just little bit if spicy not too much and withsome rice - my husband ordered chilli basil chicken -medium spicy which came with rice - 120 baht each meal - hubby had chang beers st 70 baht each. To say the food was sensational would be an understatement - depth of flavours in my curry was amazing with kaffir curry and chili perfectly balanced, lovely mix of vegetables including crisp broccoli carrot zucchini onion baby corn was just perfect. Husband raved about his and said best meal so far since arriving 5 days ago. There are also a number of market stalls around Chet and some other eateries, pharmacy etc so handy if you also need some shopping. Husband went to bathroom close by and said that was questionable but at least available if required. We watched the sunset across the road over the beach which was a lovely experience. The staff were amazing and so interested genuinely whether we enjoyed our meals and were also a bit of fun to have a joke with. Definitely will head back there during our 12 days here - really loved it. Was quite warm being outdoor with cover but they do have fans - give it a go - fantastic...
Read moreThis place is located about 800 meters to the right of the back entrance of the Pullman Hotel, inside a simple shed. The other restaurants around it seem more formal. Overall, I'd give it a rating of 3 out of 5. The food gets 3 points; the taste is just average, not particularly impressive, but considering it's a street stall, you can't expect too much. The service gets 2 points; the food really took a long time to arrive. It took 30 minutes for just two dishes, and we had ordered a total of five. We were constantly waiting for the food. The ambiance was quite nice, though. I got to drink local Thai beer, which was quite peaceful. The prices are slightly higher compared to other restaurants in Phuket and Bangkok, with 5 dishes costing...
Read moreWe came here specially for second visit. We had deep fried pork ribs the first time. Today we came back for seafood in yellow curry on rice (which is very good). We had very satisfying dinner of 5 dishes. But mostly for their delicious mango sticky rice (dessert/snack)! The rice is well cooked to a moist texture without being soggy. The perfect constituency! With a subtle fragrance and a balance of sweetness and saltiness. Served with a ripe mango and a creamy not too sweet coconut sauce! To me, this is the best tasting and perfect mango sticky rice in Karon & Kata! Beat even those served in top notch...
