During my recent visit to Karon, I had the pleasure of dining at Karlssons Restaurant, and it quickly became the highlight of my trip. Living in Bangkok, where Swedish cuisine is scarce, I was craving a hearty meal of meat and potatoes. After some research, I decided to visit Karlssons, and it was, without a doubt, the best decision I made during my stay. In just five days, I returned four times, consistently impressed by the exceptional quality of the food, the products, and the service.

The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, fulfilling all my culinary desires. Upon requesting a blue cheese sauce for my tenderloin, they graciously prepared a special gorgonzola sauce, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction. The drink selection was equally impressive, starting with a refreshing IPA, followed by a fine red wine, and finishing with a rare treat in Thailand—Fernet Branca—before rounding off the evening with a perfectly chilled limoncello.

The service was impeccable throughout, and while I may have overtipped, the staff truly deserved every penny. Karlssons is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Phuket, and I am deeply grateful for the wonderful dining experience that made my vacation even...

One day after Christmas day in the morning i saw one guy had walked passed our small restaurant at tay na road kata center..he looked a little bit drunk because of his walking..so when he walked back i said hello and asked where did your hotel!?..he said that he didn't found the way back to the hotel..then i asked to the name of the hotel..he didn't remembered..but just one word he said that carson or carlsun..i had asked google in Thai..while he had walked to kata beach..i found Karlsson Scandinavian restaurant at karon beach..may be right because that he came from Sweden..i had followed him by my old motorcycle and picked up him at kata beach..sent him there and he said yeah alright when he saw the way to karon beach..i sent him there Karlsson Scandinavian restaurant.he said that after two hours he want gave to me one thousand bath . But i just sent him to guest house behind the restaurant..say good night..we met a lot of Scandinavian people when we have worked..ijust want to helped...just that...so..i never been to Karlsson Scandinavian restaurant before..it was too long story Better i stopped.. hopefully that you have understand my English language.. My English was not so good..like snake snake..fiah...

We came to the restaurant following a recommendation from Gluten Free Finder, but found out that there are no gluten-free flour options such as pasta or pizza. However, there is a nice variety of other tasty and high-quality dishes.

I ordered an excellent Australian beef steak that was on promotion. It was served with fries and sauces (mayonnaise and another one I couldn’t identify). The presentation was appealing and the taste was great. The price was around 600 THB. The restaurant also offers well-portioned and tasty kids’ meals, perfectly sized for children.

We also ordered a delicious soup, although the portion was larger than expected, and spring rolls served with a very tasty sauce.

The drinks here are both beautiful and delicious. The outdoor seating area has a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was good. For sports fans, there’s also the option to watch football matches.
