Staying at Karon Cafe Inn was an experience that truly made our trip to Phuket unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel incredibly welcome, their smiles and attentiveness setting the tone for a wonderful stay. It wasn't just the service that was exceptional; our room was a pleasant surprise in terms of size, with a super big, comfy bed and efficient air conditioning that provided a much-needed respite from the Thai heat.

What stood out to us was not just the comfort and affordability of the inn but also the added perks that came with it. Being able to use the luxurious facilities at Paradise Club Resort—like the sky pool, spa, and jacuzzi—felt like a treat, elevating our stay from good to great.

The highlight, though, had to be the kindness shown by Cool Sun, the hotel manager. His personal touch—driving us to the resort and back, and especially taking the time to show us a stunning Phuket sunset—was something we didn't expect but deeply appreciated. It's rare to find someone who goes that extra mile to make guests' experiences memorable.

I spent 7 nights at Karon Cafe (Aug 24). It FAR exceeded my expectations and well recommended.

Staff were fantastic, extremely responsive and very friendly.

The room was clean, well maintained and included all the amenities required (safety deposit box, fridge, microwave, air conditioner etc).

The hotel is well located, with everything at your doorstep. Perfect … if you want to experience the culture and to be amongst it all.

There are however 4 pubs directly across the street (literally on opposite side of the road). This can be a blessing and a curse (depending what you are looking for). They have live bands at night and/or music playing. The noise is not excessive, but it is noticeable. Not ideal if you are early to bed or a light sleeper.

Other than that, I could not fault it.

It’s not a ritzy hotel and doesn’t promote itself as such. What it does offer, is a quality experience with a professional service.

For me … it hit the mark. 10/10.

After a loooong day of travel and arriving late, it was SO nice to arrive to professional, friendly staff and a spotlessly clean room, probably the cleanest I've had travelling in various starred accommodation in Asia!! Good quality linen on the beds, the bed is super comfortable. SUCH good value for money. The room is stocked with fridge, some crockery, microwave, toiletries and really good AC. All rooms are secured with card key. Highly recommend staying here if you want PERFECT location and spacious, comfortable room!! The restaurant downstairs is always busy too, which is a testament to the EXCELLENT food! Rooms are not noisy at all. The whole place has an old world charm to it which is cute, and everything is so well kept - you can tell management really care about how the venue is presented.
