Zurich Bread Café — Restaurant in Kathu

I like their bread especially the pretzel. Service is good and place is clean. I like how they warm up your bread after picking out what you want and serve it with jelly and butter. My favorite so far is the egg Benedict but was disappointed the 3rd time when I got it because it didn't have avacodo as advertised on the menue. They improvised it with something else. They should let the customer know or aware first before serving that the ingredients have been altered.

Then when i ordered there tuna sandwich for the 2nd time, which had avocado. The avocado was not ripe. It was crunchy. They should just saved me the hassle and not ruined the sandwich, by telling me it's not available. Not sure what I'll order next time because I'm afraid they will either improvised something with out telling me or ruin the taste of the food because ingredients are not ready. Other than that bakery has been good like the lemon...

Good food, not cheap by Thailand standards but very tasty and quite westernised which I like!🤣 Nice ambience and friendly staff and good air con. Had the fish burger which was tasty and the coffee is as good as Costa in the UK. The highlight was the sweet cabinet which was delicious and very high end. Tried the cinnamon apple crumble and the cheesecake and both were some of the best I have ever had, not cheap but so worth it. A fish burger with cheesecake and 2 coffees was about 600 BAHT £15 and I visited here many times during my stay. It's also great if you just want to pop in for cakes or bread as they have a bakery on...

European bakery with excellent counter and table service. Food is of a high standard and at a reasonable price. The all day breakfast is particularly good, as is the Illy coffee.

Update, February 2020, this place, in the space of a year has gone from 5 star to one star, staff don't care, food is poor quality, I wondered why it was empty...I now know. The brunch was burnt to a crisp, it was pointed out to the waiter who couldn't see what the problem was. The pork chops were not the succulent ones of old, they were cheap Thai versions found on food stalls. Won't be coming back.greed has taken...
