Audrey Café & Bistro: A few years ago, I assisted my friends who were pursuing their PhD during an online event held in the private room upstairs at this café. Meanwhile, the rest of us enjoyed our meals downstairs. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that made it the perfect spot for both study and relaxation. The menu featured a delightful array of dishes, each thoughtfully crafted to please the palate. As we indulged in delicious bites and sipped on aromatic coffees, the chatter of conversation filled the air, creating a lively yet comforting ambiance. While my friends engaged in their academic discussions, I took the opportunity to explore the café's charming details. The vintage-inspired furnishings and the artful presentation of each dish made every moment there feel special. It was a place where creativity and cuisine seamlessly blended together, offering a haven for both scholars and casual diners. By the time the event concluded, we all gathered upstairs to hear about the newfound insights and ideas that had been shared. The day had been a wonderful blend of learning, laughter, and culinary delight. Audrey Café & Bistro had not only provided a space for intellectual growth but also for cherished memories among friends.

I was wandering Thonglor area and spotted Audrey Cafe & Bistro and decided to have a late lunch. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao - 160 Baht & the Spaghetti Carbonara - 220 Baht. The vegetarian Pad Kee Mao was good and I like the fact they took the initiative to make it "Farang Spicy" as I had forgotten to request it during my order. The portion was pretty big and they didn't cut back on the deep fried tofu and mushrooms in the dish as you'll be able to see in the picture below. The vegetarian Spaghetti Carbonara was just the right amount of creamy and the taste was spot on for my palate. They added lots of mushrooms to the vegetarian option I requested. It played the "comfort food" part well in the overcast and the mood I was in. Total came out to 447 Thai Baht which included the 10% SC and 7% VAT. The atmosphere is comfortable and the music they played (Christmas themed music - almost soft jazz) even though Christmas is over. Overall, this is a place I would come back to again for a nice quiet mid afternoon meal.... by myself.

Yes it’s Nice, cozy and relax atmosphere that gives you a family gathering vibe. Food taste based on orders Baby Pizza Margarita and the salmon spinach cannelloni uh a bit too much cheese way too much yea pizza is was like extremely thinly crust layered of cheese The taste was missing Signature dried chili fried rice served with deep fried sea bass tamarind sauce I thought it was deep fried panko lacking of sea bass Maybe the chef was off To add insult to injury most of the desserts were sold out at 3 in the afternoon The service was absent yet 136 service charged Then manager appeared to apologize for the lack of service removed the changes and presented complementary desserts Recommendation Have staff sample what is served to customers and be guided by their inputs All is not lost the drinks were great especially the iced fruit punch. A bathroom says a lot about a restaurant Which I visited, thumb down. Wearing a mask while in the bathroom was an experience which was totally surprising Overall OVERATED

Used to come here a few years ago and remembered it was great. Today however was quite disappointing. We came in a big group so got to try quite a lot of dishes.

The NZ rib eye steak was terrible, tough and not tasty. We asked for medium and got rare so asked for re-cook and of course got back well done 😅 The green sauce was nice though. The fries weren’t crispy.

Pork t-bone was also quite tough. Spaghetti Shrimp Roe was very tomato heavy. Carbonara was too creamy.

However, salads, german pork knuckle cubes, chicken in red wine sauce, deep fried shrimp, truffle soup and onion soup were good.

Best was spaghetti with pesto sauce and salmon.

Service-wise, we came in a group of 7 so got a private room on the 2nd floor. They partitioned off a small table from a larger room for us to fit so it wasn’t that comfortable. Seeing there were literally no one else on that floor, we asked if we could move to a slightly larger table but staff said they were all booked. We finished our lunch at 3:30pm and absolutely no one else came, so…not sure why they had to do that to us.

We also had to walk downstairs multiple times because there wasn’t a waiter serving us, asking for more water, ordering food, getting beef to be re-cooked (3 times in total lol).

So in conclusion, a mixed bag. Some dishes were great, the decor and atmosphere was nice, service was sub-par. Will be...

I am a regular customer of audrey since 5 years.

I used to love the place, incredible food when it started. However through time, they have become greedier and have seemingly changed management. The place now has zero consistency in the portions and quality of food they give out, and completely lack understanding of certain allergens.

It doesn't matter if you are a newcomer or regular, they will treat you with the same disregard. This is problematic for those who know the quality and quantity of the dishes.. Often finding bad surprises.

the worse experience I had was a complete dismissal of my allergens. All of a sudden they have started putting Cow Milk (Normally coconut milk) in their Tom yum soups without any allergen warning. When trying new restaurants I always give a warning, but since this was never a used ingredient i didnt feel the need. I ended up sick and not able to even get a refund, just a remark saying I should mention before hand.

In a standard priced restaurant I would't have cared as much, but when you want to raise your prices you have to understand certain business etiquette.

Very, very...
