This drinking spot is a hit amongst the locals, especially those in their late 20s to late 30s. I recommend you to book a table and refrain from walking in, as you might be disappointed that the empty tables were already reserved.
Their house-made umeshu was fine; a bit tart for my liking and not smooth. Out of the 3 dishes we ordered; Tom Yum Soup, Fish Sauce Fried Chicken, and Cat Rice, I liked that Fried Chicken the most. I’d say the food here had that safe, homemade taste to it- bit too standard when comparing with the high price, either quality or quantity should be added. The Cat Rice was good, but you won’t feel satisfied with this dish alone. On the other hand, the Tom Yum was not it, sour with no other flavor, don’t recommend.
I’d say I’d come here if I came to drink around Ekkamai but wouldn’t purposely come here...
