This is a good place to visit in Bangkok if you want to go to a place where Thai people pray and do tambun in their daily lives. I think it is a very good place to understand the Buddhist culture rooted in Thai life. However, since it is a place where Thai people take their prayers seriously, I think it is important to remember to respect and understand Thai culture, not as a tourist attraction. I have visited this temple many times on a regular basis with my own family, and I think it is a very nice temple.

Its got a nice location on the canal, but it isnt very architecturally interesting. Its clearly a local temple. Well suited to a brief rest while exploring the canal area. There are large bulls you can feed if you like. Drop a few baht in the box, this temple appears to be mostly frequented by the less well off in this local community. A very small local Thai temple in a rich neighborhood of Thonglor/Ekamai. It receives too many baskets of Monk’s essentials donations (สังฆทาน) that most of them end up being resale in the temple itself. There’s not much to see here, really. Donation boxes are everywhere, though. There’s a small public elementary school located within the temple area.

Beautiful and very old temple. 170 years old. They have many different buddha and Indian or Chinese deities where to pay respect. Also a nice place to visit cause the very particular style. One of my fav temple in Bangkok. A must to visit.

I am overlook the temple in kind of the surrounding. Living nearby here several years and visiting for food ritual. Today, I gave myself a chance to have a look more for the first time. Quietness within, bright and shadow. 29.11.2021

Wat Pha Si - Ekkamai, Bangkok 🇹🇭 Such a cool temple, so much character and soo much work and love still needed (donations). Buddha willing, I look forward to another visit to see the progress in a few more years 🙏
