Went in there on Sunday afternoon around 3:00pm, restaurant seems a bit lovely and has a unique Japanese atmosphere in there. Staffs were very lovely and welcoming. I love the fact that they give free, unlimited Japanese soup and side dish (potato salad), which is delicious. However, waiting time is just so bad. We ordered only 1 dish (Sushi Jumbo set), which shouldn’t be taking so long to prepare, but we ended up waiting for almost 40 minutes! When we told staff to please hurry up, they said that there were busy because so many customers ( there were only 2 tables at that time!). We got so frustrated, and staff apologized many times; it seems to be that the chef mistakenly prepared the dish that we didn’t ordered, and it seems that other tables received wrong dishes also. That’s why they are taking way too much time preparing new orders again and again. But all in all, sushi was delicious and really fresh though, but if we have to wait this long for 1 dish, probably not coming back again.

Ebisu Sushi is a great neighborhood find. They serve up quick and fresh menu items in a real cozy place. The menu has many standard sushi, sashimi, Japanese salads and a nice selection of Robata grilled meats. The selection of items on a stick and Ramen or Udon soups are unbeatable. Stopped in for Happy Hour en route to the market and was pleasantly surprised with the beverage selection. Try a refreshing Sawa or a cold draft on special paired with the grilled squid. Ebisu Sushi is the bomb 😋🦑💣.

I’ve been to this place 2x. The first time it was a la carte and I had the Wagyu A4 don, it was delicious. The second time, I had the 1,399 buffet. I ordered the Wagyu A4 don. It’s definitely Wagyu, but it’s definitely not A4. It doesn’t melt in your mouth, very disappointing. I gave feedback to the staff that the beef isn’t A4 and they insist that it is. It’s value for money, but if you’re looking to have an amazing beef experience, this place isn’t it.

Stylewise this is a tiny place made to let you feel that you are already in Japan. The place is clean and the food is fresh and tasty (Japanese style). The waitresses are with you and keep the place in order and do support you if you have any question (be aware that not all do speak English or Japanese). The prices are above Thai food but cheap compared to Japan. There are Japanese guests too, so I imagine that it does have some origin taste. If you want to have that backyard Tokio restaurant feeling you should ask if you can dine...

The hamachi, the engawa and the tempura were top notch!

However, the parking was absolutely terrible! The parking space was very narrow and the alley at the parking space was also narrow making it really difficult to park and to come out. When we complained, the parking attendant was rude and just brushed it off saying we should address the complaint to the parking owner, instead of taking that responsibility of delivering the complaint.
