Overall, we were very satisfied. There are deviations from the menu and the actual preparation. For example, the shrimp were pre-cooked in boiling "water" and then briefly placed on the grill. They are not grilled shrimp. They are simply boiled shrimp that are briefly placed on the grill. Also, the cutlery is really very cheap, which is a "shame." Chopsticks were not offered and were not available at the table... The chicken breast on the menu was actually a chicken leg that was served. In terms of taste, everything was fine, even if it was missing that final touch. Overall, the served temperatures of the dishes were luke warm. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated. It's very small but absolutely lovely and adequate. The service was friendly and courteous. We had a table reservation, so I had no problems...

Quality of food is very good. It's a more modern approach to an Isan restaurant with small portions, so you can try out many different things. So the atmosphere is neither Bangkok street food nor country-wide Isan, but it's still cozy. Maybe because we arrived late after 9pm the smallish restaurant was quite empty, but the number of motocycles picking up take-away showed that they have quite a few regular customers. We were a small group of Thai/Isan/Western guests and all tastes were met. We were stranded at Ekamai for something else and the traffic for the way back looked bad. When checking restaurants in the region, we came up with this Isan food place. It's not exactly the region where you would expect an Isan restaurant with otherwise mostly Western or Japanese places. But it was...

I eat here once or twice a week every time I'm in Bangkok (third-year visit). I'm not sure how many dishes we have tasted (photos are just of the last two visits), but they are always well prepared and presented, and there are also always a pleasant surprise, taste wise. They offer an extensive menu, and never fail, which is hard to do. All the staff is very welcoming and friendly, although we don't speak Thai. Prices are honest, and the ratio quality/price is excellent. Can you ask for something else?

They also prepare a delicious homemade chilli sauce, which this year I will definitely bring back to...

The food was great and spicy. I have been eating here for quite sometime. The service could improve a little better but I didn’t expect much of that anyway so it’s all good for me. Edit: To the owner, I’m half Thai so I was ordering in Thai language. The service I mentioned was about the staff. One of them brought their kid in the restaurant and let the kid playing around while the customer was eating. I kind of understand if someone has to bring their child into the workplace but at least they should teach them how to behave in the public though. It might affect the business :)
